I'm super excited to be hosting a live chat with these two beautiful women of the alopecia community, Alyssa Collier and Sheridan Ruth. This discussion is being held through the Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation (CANAAF), for which I am a board member of. I met these queens through social media and I must say, every time I think about how many times I hesitated to open an instagram account, I'm like Christal why did it take you so long?!?! The engagement and talent within this community has been extremely instrumental in my journey and I am beyond blessed to have forged incredible friendships and inspirations through this hair loss journey.
This is why it's so important to keep the dialogue going when it comes to hair loss which is why establishing "Conversations with Alopecians" was so important to me. Many struggle in silence and alone and it doesn't have to be that way as there are so many within our community that can relate to the highs and lows of alopecia. We are here to build one another and both Alyssa and Sheridan are pillars of motivation that use their platform to bring awareness, self-love, and healing from the inside out.
So you don't miss out on this event be sure to register here by midnight EST on May 19.
Stay connected on future events hosted by the Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation by signing up to our CANAAF e-newsletter.
